Start your day with an early morning departure from Rishikesh, heading towards Guptkashi via the scenic Himalayan route passing through Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Ukhimath. The journey covers approximately 210 km and takes around 8-9 hours, offering beautiful views along the way, including the confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers. Upon arrival in Guptkashi, you may visit the revered Vishwanath Temple Guptkashi (time permitting), followed by an overnight stay in Guptkashi.
Begin your day with an early morning drive to Sonprayag (approx. 30 km), followed by a local jeep transfer to Gaurikund. From Gaurikund, start your trek of about 16-18 km to the sacred Kedarnath Temple, with options available for trekking on foot, pony, or helicopter. Upon reaching Kedarnath, visit the temple and attend the serene evening Aarti. After darshan, settle in for an overnight stay at Kedarnath, with accommodation options including GMVN guesthouses, camps, or lodges.
Start your day with an early morning darshan at the sacred Kedarnath Temple, soaking in the peaceful spiritual atmosphere. Afterward, begin your trek down to Gaurikund, and continue your journey with a drive to Sitapur via Sonprayag. The day involves a combination of trekking and approximately 30 km of driving. Upon arrival in Sitapur, enjoy a relaxed evening at leisure followed by an overnight stay.
After breakfast, begin your return journey with a scenic drive back to Rishikesh, covering a distance of approximately 200-210 km in around 8-9 hours. Enjoy the beautiful mountain views along the way before arriving in Rishikesh, where you will be dropped off for your onward journey.

We advise booking your arrival and departure flights in advance for smooth travel. It is also recommended that you add a day or two additional days during your intended stay in case of flight cancellations or delays. There are no hidden costs or fees if you travel solo. However, you will be charged accordingly if you don\'t want to join a group and would rather book a private trip.

Guide, Porter, and Trek Permits
Yes, hiring a guide is an integral part of a successful trek, even if you have previous trek experience. A guide\'s expertise will help create alternative plans and arrangements for unexpected occurrences.
Our guide and staff speak English; their speaking skills are based on field experiences rather than formal education. Even though they are not as fluent as native English speakers, they will be able to communicate effectively.
Hiring a porter(helper) is beneficial as they will be responsible for your luggage. This will allow you to hike freely without physically straining yourself. A porter(helper) will carry a maximum weight limit of 22 kg for every two travelers. If the weight limit exceeds, you will be charged accordingly.
Tipping is an act of expressing gratitude for the hard work and dedication of the guide and porter(helper). We suggest tipping based on the number of participants in a group and consider allocating at least 10% of the tip for every traveler.
You will need a Sagarmatha National Park Entry Permit (NPR 3300), TIMS (Trekkers\' Information Management System) (NPR 2000), and a Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality Permit, which costs NPR 3,000 per head for the trek. We will arrange these documents on your behalf.
